ROBOTIC MINING IMPLEMENTATION

ROBOTIC MINING IMPLEMENTATION

Our robotic mining implementation takes place in three parts:

I) Scoping Study: The first phase in a robotic mining project is to define the requirements at the mine site. Since each deposit and mine is unique, it is important to assess the potential for telemining at each particular site.  This evaluation is conducted in a scoping study, determining the technologies that will have the greatest benefit for the particular mine deposit.  Projects will be prioritized based on long term objectives, problems areas and the immediate impact on the owner’s bottom line.

II) Technology Road Map: Essentially the feasibility study for the transition from a traditional mining setting to a telemining standard, the technology road map will define the products commercially available and ready for implementation.  Areas where additional R & D is required will be identified.

II) Implementing & Contracting Services: As technologies are proven, either based on actual applications or simulators, Penguin ASI will design and supply a system for the operations and will provide system upgrades and maintenance.
